Pharaoh Ant Inspection Tips

This ant has large colonies and can nest in wall voids. In the Southern US, they can be nesting outside and coming into the structure. It is important to check the exterior of windows where ants may have been seen. Follow trails and look in and around appliances, cabinetry, inside pantries, along window sills, counter tops, sinks, baths and kitchens.

In severe infestations, these ants may have small colonies inside food boxes and unsealed containers.
